Greenwich Private Doctors is proud to be a partner of TruCheck Intelli early cancer screening. TruCheck Intelli is a blood test that identifies Circulating Tumour Cells (CTCs) and cell clusters in your bloodstream. This innovative screening technology enables detection of cancer at its earliest stages, via a straightforward blood draw from your arm. Cancer will affect approximately half of adults born after 1960 during their lifetime. This advanced blood screening can detect over 70 types of solid tumours, providing comprehensive health insights from a single sample.
Why Choose Trucheck?
Trucheck can distinguish 70 types of solid tumours which account for 81% of all cancer cases and 84% of all cancer related deaths in Europe.
Trucheck detects cancers irrespective of the extent of the disease, thus even early stage cancers are reliably observed.
Trucheck has a 92.1% sensitivity in detection of cancers across all stages and types and a 93.1% accuracy in determining the tissue or organ of origin in positive cases.
Which cancers can Trucheck detect?
Trucheck Intelli can detect the below cancer types and also many more:
- Breast, lung, and prostate cancers
- Skin, oral, and cervical squamous cell carcinomas
- Pancreatic and intestinal neuroendocrine tumours
- Kidney cancers
- Melanomas

How the process works

Book in for a GP consultation
with one of our doctors. We will conduct an initial consultation to review your medical history and discuss the test’s benefits and limitations.

Blood Sample Collection
Following your consultation, you’ll be brought back to the clinic to have your blood test.

Laboratory Analysis
Your blood sample will be sent to the laboratory, with results typically available within 2-3 weeks.

Results
You will be contacted by one of our doctors to discuss your results and arrange any onward investigations or referrals as necessary.
Understanding Your Results
Positive Result: This means that circulating tumour cells have been detected. You will be contacted to discuss your results in further detail and arrange referrals as appropriate through an established Trucheck care pathway.
Negative Result: This means that no detectable cancer cells were present at the time of testing for the cancers included in the screening panel. This does not guarantee future immunity from cancer or detect cancers outside the test’s scope.
